2. Description of the Service

  1. Scanium is an Android app that detects objects, estimates price ranges, and supports scanning tools.
  2. The App is offline-first and privacy-focused. Cloud classification is optional and only enabled when configured.

3. No Professional Advice

  1. Price estimates are informational only and not professional advice.
  2. Scanium does not guarantee accuracy.
  3. You are responsible for verifying prices and listings.

4. Mock Marketplace Disclaimer

  1. Marketplace flows are simulated and do not create real listings.
  2. No real transactions are performed through the App at this time.
  3. Future integrations may be subject to additional terms.

5. User Responsibilities

  1. Use the App for lawful purposes and comply with applicable laws.
  2. Do not reverse engineer, bypass security, or misuse pricing output.

6. Permissions and Device Access

  1. Camera access is required for detection and scanning.
  2. Denying permissions may limit functionality.

7. Data Processing and Privacy

  1. On-device processing is the default.
  2. Cloud classification is optional and only enabled when configured.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. The App and its components are protected by intellectual property laws.
  2. These Terms do not grant ownership rights.

9. Availability and Modifications

  1. The App is provided "as is" and "as available."

We are not liable for damages arising from use of the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developers from claims arising from misuse.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, with exclusive jurisdiction in the Netherlands.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
